Although I reveal my pokemon love to smart and open minded people, sometimes i m extremely hesitant because I m afraid of their reactions (smiles which are about to turn to laughs)

And everytime I have to explain to them that it's not a kids game and why it s still good. If I told them that I like football etc. this extra explanation wouldn't be needed.

My friends and classmates know about my love for pokemon. Other than them, no one else knows my powerlevel. I pass GAME every week when I'm in town and in the past few years where countless shit has been given out, I haven't set foot once in there to get them.

Then again, I do have a job in town so colleagues seeing me going to get some pokemon shit wouldn't exactly be professional and seeing as it's a quite professional place I work at (HSBC Apprentice).

I don't think anyone would judge you if you played on a long train/bus ride or something similar,because people won't even pay attention to you for that long to notice what you're playing. As long as you're not "that guy" that whips out the console at every opportunity that arises,you're ok. From what I've observed people are much more judgemental of your looks/fashion sense/attitude.

The people who know that my hobby Pokemon since the age of 6 are my little brother (14 yo), 3-4 of his friends and my closest friends (5 people). If I had a gf/waifu, maybe she would know too.

I usually don't play with my 3DS unless I'm on a long subway ride or if I'm sitting at a food court or something, but generally, people don't care. Most people in general, of all ages, tend to bring smartphones and laptops with them everywhere (the latter in my case sometimes), so seeing people with a handheld gaming device should be no matter.
