Male protag looks ok, might have been better with a different hair color to be less of a "a.k.a. Darks".
Female protag looks like younger Cynthia. Some white accents would complement the image nicely.
Victoria - the colors don't fit the description at all, and the close-up shows a colossaly high forehead.
Cain - ahahahahahahahahahahaha.
Fern - looks like he was ran over by a herd of Tauros. Horribly misshapen.
Julia - good sprite, horrible face.
Florinia - another sprite that doesn't fit the image I get from the description.
Corey - can't say anything bad about this guy.
Shelly - looking good.
Shade - BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Are they fucking serious?
Amaria - pretty ok. Moving her hair a bit to the left on the close-up would be perfect.
Heather - I recognize that hair. Girl is clearly stylin after Team Magma leader. I wonder if the spriter had problems with making a loli and just made Salamence cover most of her body.
Saphira - it would do god if she didn't have clothes in the same color as her hair.

Charlotte - Ace trainer body recolored. The colors on the full-body sprite are kinda weird.
Anna - yep, spriter can't do loli bodies. This time covered by a Jirachi doll.
Noel - dead eyes and black hair. Oh, and autism for the edge.
Dr. Sigmund Connal - I think he doesn't have a neck. Literally - his chest ends with his chin.
Kiki - looking OK. The colors don't fit her, though.
Cal - I'd excuse that outfit if this was Star Trek.
Aya - typical emo, but the sprite is fine.
