Honestly, I like his simplicity. Some of the characters look too stylish or wearing atypical stuff. Red is wearing the ideal outfit for comfortable Pokemon traveling.

To be completely fair, this old bit of official art does show brendan with white hair, and his standard R/S artwork didn't show any dark hair peeking from his bangs either.

Sugimori did kinda draw hair janky - I mean look at the original G/S Morty's hair - it has that same solid-clump-with-jagged-edges thing going that Brendan's hat does.

It's a known fact women lose 70% of their body heat through their boobs.

In any case, winter clothing doesn't really take into account for cold legs so some just don't bother. You can get the biggest winter coat but you're wearing the same jeans you do in spring.

They're called long johns. Try them out, some time.

When I was working outdoors for AT&T earlier this year and it was so cold I was dodging icicles falling from telephone cables even though I work in Louisiana, I wore long johns, pants, and coveralls.
