I think you mean regional bird. Interestingly, the best birds in the series aren't the regional birds. Murkrow (not Honchkrow) probably is the best based on design, and I'm a huge fan of Vullaby/Mandibuzz.

I could go on. Flying is a good type with plenty of cool mons. Not that Flying gym keaders ever get them, they just get the common birds.
