/vp/, why do you not appear to be hyped about the long awaited RS remakes? This board, for centuries, has literally the hub of that hype with countless threads echoing the cry of RS REMAKES RS REMAKES, trolls from below screaming IT WONT HAPPEN HOENFAGS —and yet now that RS has been announced… a strange silence draws thick across the board.

Hypes over for now, we've exhausted most of the hype spirit and it wont appear again until we get more info, the last bit we got showing the 3 secons of groudon and kyogre hit a nail in the coffin

Because the XY engine looks to be rather unlikely to manage to capture the essence of what made me like RSE in the first place, like long routes for example.

Besides, not like fuck all has been mentioned about it aside from the fact it is happening and that it is using 3D models again..

If/When they announce some nice shit like that the Team-Lead follows you again and THEN i can start being hype.

Not like i can't already Transfer my RSE Pokémon, with a bit of hoop jumping, and the risk of getting something worse then the originals is larger then it should be.

quite LITERALLY, one day the Pokemon YT channel decided to post a trailer that outright said what was basically akin to, "yeah, there's a fucking RS remake this October."

There was no "WE HAVE BIIIIIIIG NEWS" kind of hype that GF put out beforehand.

Usually there's a few teases on Twitter and there are teaser trailers where you can't quite tell what kind of game it is.

But this time? Nothing. Just, boom, trailer.

And even know there's not a whole lot of substantative knowledge about the game to hype over. We basically have a weather-related cutscene with Groudon and Kyogre. Nothing else. We don't know about Contests, Secret Bases, Berry Planting, etc. Nothing.

And at the moment, we don't have much to hype about. When CoroCoro or E3 gives us something to work with, it'll begin. All we've seen thus far is that Groudon and Kyogre are in them...
