Not only were they Shinies that were near impossible to get (bar Suicune), due to the roaming, they also got crazy useful attacks, Raikou in particular became INSANELY useful, due to Weather Ball and Aura Sphere. I still use him in Gen 6.
Then you could transfer them over to face Zoroark at the abandoned caravan sight.
I seriously miss events like these man. Victini was alright, but everything since then has been awful.
