I wanted to record at least one battle that I thought was really well played. Even if I lost, if I had performed flawlessly, I might have saved it. But many would disconnect before the scores were tallied.
I had one victory, but I accidentally saved over it. It was against someone who's Metagross kept getting power-ups from Meteor Mash. He could had possibly won had he taught his Metagross EQ. Anyway, I was fine with losing that recording because it was my team not quite developed the way I had them now and it was before my policy of never playing against someone who didn't give items to all their Pokemon. But since many did and few ever really battle on Launcher Battles, I decided to battle but not have my victory recorded. But if they won they deserved to have their's recorded so I'd take the loss as I did for every other battle. Except one time, but I was really distracted for something beyond my control. I battled a little more but then decided that this battle didn't count. That was the only time I disconnected instead of forfeiting.
On the last day, earlier that day, I had a few battles and lost most of them. One of them had a weather team and we all know how difficult they are, even though he didn't have any Pokemon with a speed boosting ability for it. But, later on I battled who I considered my rival, Boke:). I remember when I first battled him. He taunted most of my team and toyed with me most of the battle before winning. But, I improved and learned to anticipate him and won some battles. We became pretty well matched, but he'd usually disconnect before my victory could be recorded.
