Conspiracy theory: Nintendo adds fairy type in Gen 6, makes it weak to steel and poison (types not commonly used) get’s everyone all hyped on the extremely OP fairy type, announced gen 3 remakes in gen 6, everyone loads their teams up with the OP fairy type in the remakes (use pokemon like Gardevoir & Azumaril) then they get to the champion Stephen only to get shat on and realize they’re fucked and have to raise a new team because they have too many fairies.
