Both FRLG protagonists share four name options: Fire, Red, Leaf, and Green. They each also have a bunch of other options that have nothing to do with version names.
The male protagonist and rival's names seem to suggest playing Firered or Red, so I'd expect her name to be either Fire or female Red.
Leaf seems to be a more popular name, but I have no idea why.

After HG/SS were released, I was surprised that they kept his name as Blue.
I was also disappointed that Leaf never appeared in HG/SS even if you select Lyra.
And disappointed again that she never appeared in Brawl or PWT.

None of her default name options in any language for either version is Blue.
If you call her Blue, that would make her the only playable character who is named after a game in which she is not playable.
