So now that grass mons are immune to spore what is the best mon and setup to make one to "catch'em all"?

Smeargle has some potential, but is gallade still the leader in all things catching?

Perhaps I didn't make myself clear earlier.

I didn't mean to insinuate that Gallade gets Spore, but Smeargle could. And considering that hypnosis has a 60% chance to work, is mean look gallade still preferable or is there a newer/better way to do this? And if so, what is it?

Smeargle do gets Spore. Just Sketch these: Soak/Spore/Mean Look/False Swipe.

I guess you could consider a Dunsparce with Yawn/Glare.

Replace Spore with Dark Void

Replace Soak with Glare, for mons with Insomnia.

Alternatively: Foresight so you can actually false swipe ghosts.

No, Smeargle is still the best. You should be using Soak anyway for False Swiping Ghost types and Sporing Grass types.

Ability: Own Tempo
EVs: 252 Atk
Adamant Nature
- False Swipe
- Soak
- Block
- Glare

it's level 100 anyways, and only Frillish / Chinchou with Water Absorb give it a hard time.
