You are trying to nerf him, right OP? This turns him from a solid priority abuser to a bad gimmicky pokemon. 2 flying type moves on the same set, with one only being possible to use once per battle? You want to get raped even harder by Rock-type pokemon? If you want more power just slap a choice band on it and call it a day.

No-item Acrobatics is 110BP, though, and Talonflame can't boost it with Choice Band. The initial Sky Attack is still weaker by quite a bit, too.

Brave Bird is the only thing keeping this shit from being hypernova.

You know why? The recoil, if you survive the initial BB you can easily retaliate and kill it thanks to the recoil, and maybe even Life Orb recoil if that's what it's running too. Roost included.

No recoil is hell and means Acrobatics rape all day every day.

No, because talonflame is useful for eliminating weakened pokemon with priority at the late stage of a battle, so he needs more power to do this and the recoil is insignificant. It's way more useful to have a 120 base power move that can be further boosted with itens than a 110 bp one that can't be boosted, let alone reserving 2 moveslots to the same move type, with one only being useful once in the entire battle. Brave Bird is much better than Sky Attack.
