So there are always threads asking people to think up Pokemon based on animals that haven't been used yet. The same ideas tend to crop up, so this got me thinking, how about the reverse?

ITT: Think up an original Pokemon based on an animal group/concept that has ALREADY been used at least once. It has to be sufficiently different from previous incarnations, either in design or mechanics.

Hardmode: Based on something that's been used at least twice before.
Hardmode2: Cannot share any type with its cohorts.

My hardmode entry: A fifth tutle Pokemon based on an alligator snapping turtle. It practically already looks like a Pokemon, its craggy look could make for some good Gigalith-like rock protrustions, I'm thinking Rock or Rock/Water, but with its primary stat being attack to distinguish it from Tirtouga.
