It's like you don't understand what a joke is.

Racing Rhydons is a Kalos joke because Rhydon are so slow that a Rhydon race would be ridiculously unamusing to take part in.

Also, it's a metaphor for riding the dick.

What, you can see them racing? I always saw them barren.

I'm also hopjng they refine the mounted Pokemon system and you can enter nearly any "rideable" Pokemon in the race (even if it's just it's battle sprite with the players chibi head sitting on top).

I can't wait to race my Slowpoke around the track!
