Now I'm MMing a Nincada. Ninjask fits very well in my ORAS team, I really love Shedinja, I love having 2 shinys for the price of one and I needed some shiny bug type (my favourite).

No, flat rules means that pokemon levels are set to 50, apparently when you start a Multi Battle the default settings are no restrictions, so pokemon can be over level 50, the match will still be 2 vs 2

I was given two amazing gifts from the give away threads. One guy hatched a shiny furfrou and gave it to me, and another person gave me a 5iv shiny minncino with skill link. I may not have hatched them, but i'd be dumb not to graciously accept them.

I also chained to roselia, albeit it neither completely successfully. One had no IV and 0 hp in health, I booted that one to the gs. The other I still have and i'm offering it to anyone despite the fact that its horrible. Brave Natured with a perfect attack. if anyone wants it just to have, let me know

If I use an AR to hack in the event items for Shaymin and Darkrai into Platinum and catch them, will they go through Pokebank with a current date on them? Technically speaking, you could have gotten the event item and just now caught them, so it should work, right? Can anyone confirm/deny this?

I've never successfully caught a shiny in my life. Since fainting my very first shiny at a sushi restaurant by accident, in Silver version, and then subsequently hacking the game to get every shiny imaginable, I have never been able to find one since (except possibly for a shiny Whismur, which I may have either dreamed, or have also fainted without even realizing it was shiny.) Nevertheless, here I am, trying.

Thanks, anon! I think I've been through maybe 2-3 boxes at this point, so the hunt is only beginning. Unfortunately, I heard somewhere that destiny knot and Everstone negatively impact the benefits of MM, so I could be in for a long one, but I also heard that this is no longer true. Either way, I'm going for it.

I hope it will be a quick hunt, you have guts to try Masuda for your first real try at shiny hunting, the slowness of the method can be really depressing. So even if you feel discouraged, continue! It is worth the wait. :) For the Everstone it was true back in DPPt I think? We don't really know for sure in XY but it don't seems that the Everstone affect the rate.

That 0 speed is semi important. Also you can do without a 31 in one of the attacks depending on what you go for, physical or special. Also have the nature that compliments it, Brave or Quiet.

You want that thing going last. It's already kinda slow to begin with but against any other sorta slow pokemon you'll go first. You dun want that.
