From my own expirence, That method only works efficiently if you have x4 o-power and hatching a mon with reduced hatch time.
If not, you'd end up with a full party of 5 eggs and talonflame before you hatch one egg. and you'd miss out on eggs being generated because you'd have to circle multiple times.
you need the o-power or else you'd run out
by circling multiple times, you are missing eggs being generated

3 days of hunting, something like 1300 SRs, or there abouts.

Caught my shiny grassback hedgehog, was about to give up and go to sleep too.

Didn't need to do any damage, caught it with 2 nest balls.

Now to go after Arceus and Darkrai!

Well. I just hatched a shiny Larvitar from a 3IV parent with my 6IV Ditto on like the third egg when I was working my way up to better IVed ones. It has 4 and is missing HP and Speed. Could be worse but could be a lot better too.
