I go in phases. Zero if I'm out of the phase, but 10-15 in I'm in one.

Not regularly. I play a lot of older games, like Nintendo 64 era

I've been playing for 15 years now, so it's highly unlikely. My girlfriend plays, and I might be having a kid in the next few years. It might be a cool thing to share with him/her.

Teach English in a third-world country while majoring linguistics.

Depends if there's a local tournament coming up. In those cases I usually spend a few hours per day breeding for it. Otherwise I just go on Showdown a few times a week.

Except when a new game is released, in which case all I do during my free time is play it.

I play some online multiplayer stuff with friends, single player RPGs and rhythm games during my breaks.

Nope. I enjoy the whole meal, from the main series RPGs to competitive battling to spinoff games to the anime. I don't see why I'd quit something I enjoy if it's not doing any harm.
