I used action replay on black to alter the catch rates of the 6 legendary pokemon. They got through pokebank. I love them even if they get their asses kicked on battle spot.

You can AR to have every Pokemon, perfect IVs+EVs and Natures, and they will all get through Pokebank(excluding a few event legends iirc).

it only checks for obvious stuff (invalid moves, invalid shinies, etc.)

evs and ivs and natures and most shinies won't matter

Don't bother hacking with hoenn ledgendaries. They will fail the legality checker if caught in unova and you will be able to get most of them on the upcoming remakes.
