Pretty cool so far. Took a hike with some friends to go to the tide pools, got pricked by a sea urchin though, but I'm cool. It was relaxing none the less.
No shiny Torchic to report yet, but I did score a shiny Fast Ball Pichu Friday morning. It's female though, and I hate Pikachu's cleft tail, so I might make it a Raichu.
Also, I've been gone all day, what's the deal with these Zubats?

Not complaining, all things considered it only took about an hour to fill, not too bad.

around 2-3 minutes per batch

release them, there are enough charmanders on the wonder trade.

Hey /shw/. I'm trying to breed a shiny Crawdaunt and I want to use the Masuda method to do it. I currently have a female Crawdaunt from my own cartridge (USA) and a male Crawdaunt from the county "SPA" that I got off of the GTS. Would this combo work for the MM? And is there anything else I can do to improve my chance of getting a shiny? Or even anything that makes eggs hatch faster? Thanks.

And yes, if you further want to improve your chances of getting a shiny, you'll need the shiny charm. You get it from completing the National Dex.

Yes, the combo works, it's still uncertain if the Shiny Charm assists in MMing, and a Flame Body lead combined with hatching O-Powers will speed up hatching.

Complete the National Dex, you are rewarded with the Shiny Charm

Get a Pokemon with Flame Body at teh front of your pparty, and use the Hatching O-Power. Having the Oval Charm will also generate eggs quicker. You get that by seeing everything in the Kalos Regional Dex.

Whilst on the PSS screen (the yellow one with all your Friends, Acquaintances and Passerbys), you'll notice an icon at the middle of the top of the screen. There'll be different options to choose from, GTS, Battle, Wonder Trade, etc. and one of them will be O-Powers. These things give limited time bonuses to your ingame experience. The Hatching ones speed up the time it takes to hatch an egg. You can only get that one after you've maxed out your Style, though. You might also want to take note that you start with lvl 1 O-Powers, and have to use them to level them up. Level 3 is the max level (if you disregard the S-rank ones distributed at Pokémon Centres in Japan).
