Say that, come Pokemon Z/X2/Y2/whatever , Gamefreak decides that they've gaged what Gen VI original Pokemon deserve Mega Evolutions based on their popularity amongst fans and how well they've fared online (amongst other things), and so are going to insert Mega Evolutions for 3-5 (Non-Starter, Non-Legendary) Gen VI Pokemon in the game.
