The problem.is that their typing sucks dick

Skarmory, Mega Aggron and Avalugg are the only good ones and its for very specific reasons, Skarmory is.part flying, Mega aggron has filter and Avalugg has recover, but even then, Skarmory has no fucking defensive moves, you have to Mega evolve with Aggron, you cant switch in advance, and

Really, Blissey's strength is a reliable recovery move, sky high hp, and normal typing giving one weakness and one immunity. The closest thing is probably Skarmory with its god defensive typing and roost, but it has more weaknesses and a less useful immunity than Blissey.
Also, there's no pokemon that rivals Blissey's 255/135 bulk.

It really depends on how you use it

For example, i dont Mega evolve unless i have to, otherwise i keep regular Rock Head Aggron so i can Head Smash with no recoil

and we have to put into mind that Maggron has Filter

Still can't recover its HP. M-Scizor is a better defensive Mega than M-Aggron, despite the obvious gulf in Defense stats.

The important thing here to remember that most OU physical attackers are extremely weak

Unlike Blissey, Avalugg can actually hurt people, Counter/Mirror Coat is a chance move

I mean, most of the ones with a SE STAB for Avalugg are weak to Earthquake, but things like

aren't exactly what I'd call "frail", going by raw stats alone. And many of them tend to run a Special move to push past Physical walls.

Uh.
What exactly is Skarmory lacking here? Is it Heal Bell/Aromatherapy? Roost and Roar are pretty solid for saving your steel-plated skin, honestly.

Skarmory is a set up monster

Avalugg and Mega Aggron are supposed to hit back with their bulk

Skarmory is pure chancy/Blissey set up wise

Come to think of it, I don't there is a special defensive wall that can hit back like a bitch, other than florges and cresselia

Excluding legendaries, and as said before, most attackers like Alakazam and Gengar are flat out weak.

Florges is pretty good, but its only downside is no recovery and that none of its abilities are ever useful outside doubles and triples
