I don't play pokemon for the story and I dont know anyone who does. one of my main issues with all the gen 4 games was way too much dialogue.

And Megas are fucking amazing, if you can't handle them stick with your dead and decaying past-gen metas.

because collecting and training pokemon is fun? i dont give half a fuck what professor oak has to say about the importance of friendship and the balance between strong pokemon and weak pokemon.

im honestly not even that big into vidya anymore, i just started playing pokemon again because it's summer and i'm bored. haven't bought a new game in god knows how long, because whenever i do get the urge to play video games i always end up replaying my old games on my outdated consoles.

i think the last new video game i bought was
LoZ Skyward Sword. Preordered my deluxe edition and everything. God, what a disappointment.

27 or was it 29? Either way it's a joke. With so few of them they may as well have not introduced that feature at all. The only thing that keeps me from writing mega evolution off as a complete waste is the thought that they can patch in more later but even that isn't guaranteed.
