The other dramatic portions pulled down to the human level. Frankly, everything but I guess that's not specific enough for you.
I didn't like the wife, and I was disappointed with a few other bits but nothing enough to cut my enjoyment of the movie.

this movie was better than that piece of crap for sure, but it isn't really that good either, it had the most "fateful" Godzilla design but other than that the movie was kinda disappointing for me... oh yeah they also wasted Bryan Cranston.

Totally - he was the only human character I cared about in that movie and he got killed off like 1/4 of the way through.

Also is Godzilla a mixed attacker? I can totally see it use stuff like Surf and Dragon Pulse but it has the physical stats too.

Well movie wise the only special attacks would be the beam and the pulse, or I suppose surf.
A movie moveset would be dragon claw, hyper beam (or dark pulse if you don't want a shitty move), iron tail and something else.
