What are Pokémon that should get an evolution?
A regular one, not a mega.

Quagsire is great but it could really need some better stats.

I'm guessing they won't do any previous gen evos other than Eevees seeing as they had fuck loads in gen IV, then none in gen V, and then added megas.

Generally anything with less than 3 stages and mediocre stats should get a regular evolution instead of a mega evolution. Stuff like Mawile can be excluded because it at least benefits from having the weaker form (Intimidate)

Marowak needs a ground/fighting evolution.

Heliolisk, also appearance wise, while it was one of my favorites XY pokemon, he looks like a NFL and I expected him to change type upon evolution, like Ground/Electric or Dragon/Electric

There will never be regular evolutions for old pokemon again, unless it's in the eevee family thanks to mega evolution. It's a good and a bad thing.
