I think it's relatively common knowledge that there are 14 Pokemon incapable of learning TM moves, but there are (as far as I know) 4 that can only learn one.

Wobbuffet and Wynaut only learn Safeguard.
Kricketot only learns Struggle Bug.
Spewpa only learns Protect.

In the original G/S/C games, the intended order of progression is suppose to be Chuck, Team Rocket in Mahogany Town, Pryce, and THEN Jasmine followed by Team Rocket in Goldenrod City. This can be seen from the Pokemon levels used in each gym/area.

Since Olivine was so close to Cianwood and because of having to get the medicine, most people assumed that Jasmine was logically the next gym leader to fight. This resulted in a big spike of difficulty going up against her Lv 35 Steelix for those who didn't have anything good against steel, and then a big period of easy mode going against Team Rocket's Lv 20s and Pryce Lv 31 Dewgong.

Probably my favorite Pokemon trivia:

In Red/Blue, there was no other way you could use Kinesis besides randomly through Metronome. This was because it was Kadabra's and Alakazam's starting move, but since you couldn't find either of them in the wild and there were no move reminders, no Pokemon could have Kinesis as a part of their moveset. This was fixed in Yellow, where you could find wild Kadabra that knew Kinesis. This is probably the main reason why Kinesis is such a forgotten move.

Another cool trivia with some personal experience added to it:

In Gen I games, you didn't need Silph Scope to progress in the game, because you could use Poke Doll to escape from the Marowak ghost in Pokemon Tower and get past it. This isn't supposed to happen, but when I was a kid, I actually thought this was the official and only way to get past the ghost. I played the game most of the time with my friends, and none of us had found Silph Scope, but someone had found this Poke Doll trick, so naturally we thought it was the only way to progress in the game. I wasn't until years later that I heard that you shouldn't be able to get past the ghost without Silph Scope.

But no, Klefki actually can take a lot of brutality. And behind both screens (It will have prankster prior to M-Alakazam's Traced Flash Fire being Role Played onto it.), it's even bulkier. What's more, as a ghost it can't be brick breaked

When an animal partially lives in water we call that Amphibious. In the games this is known as the Water 1 egg group.

And to clarify Water 2 consist mostly of fish, and only 3 cephalopods (Octillery, Inkay, and Malamar), while Water 3 is full of aquatic invertebrates (except for Archen and Archeops).

You dont have to have Budew.
Roselia was a single-stage mon originally, and Budew is an Incense baby, so you can breed level 1 Roselia, which evolves by Shiny stone.

Gothitelle is based off the Flatwoods Monster.

It's not very obvious until you look closely. Look at the shape of it's head and body. Gothitelle has the same teardrop shaped head, while it's body is in a very similar dress shape, with the non-visible feet and all black colorations.

In Gen II, GF implemented certain breeding rules that would check the IV's of the pokemon you were trying to breed to keep from In-breeding.

Due to Gen II breeding mechanics, a bred pokemon's IVs are based on the parent with the opposite sex and can either be the same or +/- 8 points exactly, never going over 31 or below 0 for each stat.

If you were to try to breed with a parent-child duo, the game checks the defense/ sp. defense IVs and if the defense IVs match or if the special defense IVs match/are +/- 8 of each other, the two pokemon won't breed and the message the Day Care Man says about the pokemon is, 'It's brimming with energy.'

This, however led to some pokemon not being able to breed simply because of luck - you could catch two breed-able pokes but not be able to breed them because their defense/sp. defense IVs were too similar.

GF would only implement this in Gen II - the rest of the generations do not care if every poke on your team comes from the same mon's loins

It's not very obvious until you look closely. Look at the shape of it's head and body. Lapras has the same dino shaped head, while it's body is in a very similar plesiosaur, with the visible flippers and sea-like coloration.

Pokemon in the "No Eggs" group will automatically have 3 perfect IVs, minimum.
This is mostly for the benefit of players trying to catch usable Legendary Pokemon.
As for the babies, well, the weaker ones get slaughtered en masse in the wild.
