It takes no more than 2-3 days of on/off gameplay for me to hatch a shiny. Odds are good.

The shiny charm only increases your chance of shinies by a paltry amount, most people who've gotten say they don't notice any significant difference. I imagine its great for just passively looking for mons though.

Shiny charm + MM multiplies odds of finding one by 8 from base rate. MM gives 5 times likely chance from base rate so there's less than a 50% increase from MM to MM+charm.

Only just started MM, but I get a shiny within 150 eggs consistently. Granted I have only hatched 6, and only 1 was 6IV, the rest were imperfect 5IVs.

I've definitely noticed the difference the shiny charm makes horde hunting shinies, but since I started hatching after I got it I'm not sure of the change with MM.
