Set only.
EXP Nerf.
Every trainer past the first town got a MINIMUM of 3 Pokémon.
No "3 magikarp" allowed unless one of them got a nasty surprise.
Enemy Trainers have their Pokémon hold items (But even if you use thief and stuff to take them you do not keep it after battle).
Gym leaders and Rivals have 6 aside from the "first" battle.
Pokécenters cost money, and is expensive.
E4 EV trained.
Champion got perfect IV and EV trained.
No Amulet Coin.
To offset, Pokéballs are cheaper, But only Pokéballs, not Great, Ultra or Special balls.
Pokémon do not get healed when entering the PC but DO get fully healed if they spend a certain amount of in-game time in it (to rest up, the higher level, the longer it takes regardless of how heavy the damage, only a few seconds for something levels below 10 while something like half an hour for something 30+).
This would encourage a rotating team more. as you make a B-team since your Solo Overleveled Sweeper may take some time to rest up his lost PP, then that B-team can rest while the Sweeper does his Job.
You start with 1 Master Ball as a bone just in case you encounter that damn shiny Pidgey while doing the Challenge, you cannot get any more, not via lotto and not via storyline.
TL;DR:
>Trainers get more Pokémon.>Healing is heavily limited.
