It scored second on some poll of manga Nipps wanted to see animated, and RS arcs were/are getting special rerelease, so I guess they are.

Kusaka and Yamamoto have been fucked with pacing since gen 3.
I am very afraid that the quality will go down if GameFreak continues with this.
At least let them observe the development of the games so they can be at the top of their game at any given moment

Yes, there is a ROM based on Pokemon Special.
Yes it's popular in Japan

And with the upcomming remage of OR/AS, the next arc of the manga will bring us to the Hoenn region AFTER the event of the original game, like it was the case for FR/LG & HG/SS.

Furthermore, this new arc coulb be the first one where the main characters are adults, because the character grown up in the manga and if i remember, Ruby and Saphire was 15 or 16 the last we see them in the manga.

Fuck, I still can't believe how many "openings" and "if dexholders had voices" and Vocaloid song covers by dexholders there are.

The closest we got to something good Pokemon animated were the B2W2 trailers and The Origins.

Origins was a good opportunity for Red to be a star but its still not as good as Adventures.....

Reminder that the anime is not targeted at you, and is instead targeting younger children. Also, I can bet you haven't watched the anime ever since season 1 and are just parroting what retards on reddit and facebook say because if you are watching the XY Anime now, you should know that it's far from terrible and has actually managed to redeem a few bland in game characters.

Also R/S is best arc followed by B/W. E can go fuck itself

What purpose was there to turn anything into an anime then?
Why do we have all these shonen and VN based anime then?
They were all better of it their original format.
Some of them even fucked up the transition.

Why not have Special as an anime then?

Current anime is still pretty underwhelming, and is only saved by some pretty awesome battles like >>19425511 posted.

I like the current anime, but for much different reasons than why I like pokespe. I think they could run both anime and still keep interest in both without jeopardizing the main anime.

Also, Emerald was a mess caused by time constraints. Didn't really help that R/S was as long as it was, but that gave Ruby and Sapphire enough time to really develop.

That is why the fans of PokeSpe are so hostile to the anime, because they know that the anime is a scourge for the reputation of all the license, they reject the anime, because they like pokemon.

This was one of my favorite moments of the series.

I was really glad that this started Dia's major character development. Sure he helped convince Pearl to keep being Platinum's bodyguards but Dia really didn't get focus until this point.
