Which would you rather see first, more Eeveelutions for new types, or Mega Evolutions for the existing eight? Speculations on abilities, stats and whatnot welcome.

New eeveelutions first. Normal one should evolve by level if you hold onto evolving Eevee for a long while, entry should say Eevee understood its trainer wanted it to just be itself but it evolved anyway to protect the trainer.

8 is a nice round number that they've come to, and this coupled with the fact we only got one evolution last gen makes me think this could be the end of evolutions. Personally I'd love to see more. I'm not feeling megas for them though...

Eevees are always used to preview something new. We might not get one until a new type or evolution method is added, but it will happen eventually.

Rather than any of those, I'd like a new Eevee style family that includes the types Eevee's family doesn't.

Instead of evolutionary dogs/foxes/cats, they'll be birds. The first one will be flying/normal, with flying/ghost, flying/fighting, flying/dragon, flying/bug, flying/poison, etc evolutions.

I don't want more eeveelutions unless there's new types that feel like elements. Types that feel like creatures (bug, dragon) or skill (normal, fighting, flying), no. Ground, rock and steel, yes. Ghost and poison, maybe. But lean on the side of fewer. I'd be happy with no more.

Mega evolutions I don't really care about. Sure, give the eeveelutions some if you want, but there's other pokemon I'd rather see get some. inb4 all the eeveelutions' mega forms get normal as a secondary type.

My autism sorta demands that we have one eeveelution for each type, otherwise (for me) it'll feel like an incomplete evolution spectrum.

I can see it happening, but it'll take time, since before Sylveon the last eeveelutions came from gen 4. Maybe two more for each new gen until we're done with it?

Wouldn't want megas, tbh. The whole eeveelution thing is 'gimmicky' enough.

The gimmick of it is that it changes Secondary type(Possibly Form) every turn to a random one among the ones of the Eeveelutions due the "Unstable DNA".

So it can be Normal-Fire, Normal-Water,Normal-Thunder, Normal-Psychic, Normal-Dark, Normal-Grass, Normal-Ice and Normal-Fairy.

Less for offensive STAB and more to add defensive unpredictability.

I don't think ghost will work because you have to technically kill your eevee. Flying would be cool and it's doable.
