first and foremost op is a faggot. now back to business 2 gym leaders out of 48 gyms. thats a pretty low number. i agree with op the gyms could still have themes and shit but they could have different types of pokemon.

In my opinion gyms should have a thematic rather than a type. Something along the lines of Steven where he had a mineral pokemon theme going on but no set type.

Monotype gyms would probably be less easy if there were some conditions for challenging them, like forbidding super-effective moves/Pokemon from being used.

I always thought the Gyms were kinda there to teach you wich pokémon are weak to what, and then make sure you got it.

I would like it to be different for the E4 tho, I mean, 8 gyms is enough for any kind to learn the are different strong and weak points for different types, the E4 should be where everything you learned should be put in a test.
