Once I get into a battle on Battle Spot, I can keep going on for more battles especially if I lose. If I get a good win though I tend to stop immediately even if it was only 1 win after many losses since I don't want to squander that feeling of satisfaction with further losses. I know how that feels though OP, I got queue anxiety too when I tried DOTA and the same nagging feeling sometimes when I open the Battle Spot screen.

Also I feel like a complete noob when I'm overpredicting and expecting a switch when he stays in and takes NVE damage.

Especially when they're Japanese. I can really har their laughter in my head at those times

It's harder to predict the opponent's skill level on Battle Spot. Maybe if their rating is 1500+ then it's safer to assume that they know their shit and you can play mindgames with them. Other than that I just play straightforward without much switch predictions unless their team gave an impression that they're good or they had pulled off a clever move earlier.
