Arguably worst typing in the game, it's like you're trying to make it worse. Though thematically it makes sense admittedly.

This honestly wouldn't work unless Hypno got a new ability with a additional special accuracy boost to Hypnosis or it's own new more reliable sleep move. With your only sleep move being a 1 turn delayed Yawn and the 60% accurate Hypnosis this is gonna backfire a lot.

I think the main point of the ability was the 'unblockable' aspect, which (probably) allows Jynx's Ice moves to hit through Protect.

It's true, Psychic/Dark gives you.

-1 immunity to Psychic which you already resist and is a shit offensive typing anyway.
-NO resists
-4x Bug, 2x Fairy weaknesses
-Offensively you get hard walled by any Dark type

That is actually statistically worse than a pure Normal typing, it's right up there with Psychic/Ghost for redundant or plain bad type combinations.

The idea is to be a bit more of a team player when it comes to double/triple/rotation(?) battles, pairing Galvantula with lets say a Machamp with Dynamic punch then Galvanize will cause Dynamic Punch to hit. Allowing for Guts Machamp to hit hard without the risks of No guard.
What I should have included because of what >>19440120
pointed out is that perhaps this shouldn't include moves such as Horn Drill
