Just finished this movie here. This one was also pretty meh for me. Tooi just got on my nerves so my favorite moment was when Ash was getting ready to beat the shit out of him. I also notice that Ash doesn't seem to use his Pokemon a lot in the movies anymore (Only one I've seen before Jirachi/Deoxys is Movie 1), is that a common thing?

Yes, it's true that XY002-007, 013, 020, 021, 025-026 (and probably 024) as well were all pretty much her spilling spaghetti over Ash. I guess you could say I'm cautious, because of "lol status quo" plus the fact that Ash doesn't even seem to be the focus of the picture Serena is blushing at. Clemont, Bonnie, and Korrina do.

This movie was bretty good. Plot-wise there probably wasn't a lot more going on here than the last two but it actually managed to make me care. I get the feeling that M06 and M07 were just obligatory because they're just used to making one movie a year, this one felt like one they actually wanted to make. Was also pretty surprising they showed a skeleton at the end (albeit censored by the giant crystal around him).
