In Digimon World 3 you could start with Agumon, Guilmon but not Veemon, who was only obtainable if you hit a certain point of the story with all your Digimon added levels not breaking a certain cap (wich was low), then heading to the swamp and meeting a wandering Paildramon and asking for his DNA sample. That REALLY ticked off my OCD.
