>>19476073They've spent like 18 years pretty much making a team specifically for this guy: Bellossom, Hitmontop, Ludicolo, Kirlia, Plusle and Minun maybe as a duo, Spinda, Kricketune, fucking Chatot, Lilligant, Darumaka... All pokemon themed around music or dance, or at least with some "dance" to them.
It could have been great if the game wasn't so handholding and they actually became stronger in their own ways and had actual goals of their own, like if Tierno figured out a way of fighting through dance. Hell, at some point they could even release an event with which you could get an encounter with him, at the very end of the postgame, where he has become pretty strong and has Meloetta in his team, and if you win it joins yours.
It's like they're actively fucking with us.
