I realized that one of my speakers was too quiet and so I kept sending my 3ds to nintendo to be fixed. After a few months, they eventually caved and sent me a new one. This new one has a speck of dust under the registration sticker, and it bugs me to no end. So rather than rip the sticker off or force myself to ignore it, I choose not to touch my 3ds.

And that is why I stopped playing XY

I got stuck with the Head It minigame in Pokémon Amie and managed to get 1998 points, but since that takes like 15 minutes of constant tapping without missing a beat, it's grown pretty damn boring too.

I'm max rank in the Chateau, the last few things in the Maison I want to do are too bullshit for me to care, I beat the looker quest.

I haven't had the patience to save reset for Zygarde with the right IV spread.

I'm slowly finishing my Pokedex while I'm bored. I think I only have some Pseudos to level up and some Event Legendaries I haven't felt like Genning yet.

I'm not autistic enough to breed for anything except my Shiny Honedge.

Thank god I had the sense to wait till I could see actual content/issues with it (like the Lumious city glitch and some other issues the game had) and reviews by players (elsewhere and here) at which point I decided to get a used copy, no way I'm paying around $40 to Gamefreak for this turd.

And this is coming from someone who has played and at least liked all the games previous.
