no, I supported it like a week after Sylveon got revealed and I realized the connection between all its names.

Plus the way they were hyping up what type it was in CoroCoro and the official site made it seem like it wasn't going to be something as boring as normal type. From there, the amount of evidence just became larger and larger.

I was on the edge. As far as I cared Fairy type could only exist if they retconned earlier pokemon, and they did.
I was always secretly hoping it would be true and they'd make a Fairy Gardevoir, and they did.

I initially thought Sylveon was dragon type. Some of the information fit. It wasn't that far fetched at the time that dragon might be getting a new weakness, and steel seemed logical. Swords kill dragons.

As the hype kept piling up I became sure it was a new type. I was still genuinely surprised when it was outright called Fairy type.

When fairy type was offically revealed basically 90% of the catalog was HAHAHA TOLD YOU SO FLYINGFAGS and the like.
But there was one single thread where people that didn't believe fairy type was real could admit on being wrong. That was pretty much it.

Both, megas and Newtwo had a way bigger shitstorm.
