Evasion becomes an option, a poor one but an option nonetheless. There are multiple ways to deal with that shit but you still get rewarded for setting it up if you manage it.
As for move accuracy, you can use stronger moves while risking misses, so that gets used effectively. There's also the choice between spread moves with a chance of missing and accurate moves that only hit a single target (ie Heat Wave and Flamethrower).
Plus there are the other benefits, like Mega Kangaskahn being a very strong option rather than utterly fuckbroken.
