Why the FUCK are pokemon games from the 1st and 3rd gen so fucking expensive?

I tried to buy Gale of Darkness: XD on Amazon and it's fucking $150. u fucking wot m8?

The original Pokemon Red is like $350. Blue is $500

Does this mean I can sell my old pokemon games for bank?

Woah, even a used copy is pretty damn expensive - especially for a retro game with a lot of glitches and not much content provided.

Mm, you could probably find it on the cheap if you look around or start hunting at garage/estate sales if you have the time.

I got Gale of Darkness a few years back for like $20. RB I saw in the original boxes once at an antique store for $50 each.

I'm aware it's not available, just wait until it is, or look around s'more. There reason everything is so expensive on Amazon is because it isn't made anymore and usually comes in good condition with the manuals and shit. Try eBay, it's great.

anyway, White 2 and White were on display next to each other. White was more expensive. I asked the guy at the counter why that was, and he gave the reason that they stop making Pokemon games once the next one comes out, therefore the older games are more expensive due to rarity.
