i think customisation should be expanded in pokemon games

>putting ornaments on pokemon which you can see ingame and in battles
imagine your garchomp with a flower on his head while he wrecks shit or a snivy with sunglasses

doing quest or fighting other wild mons to get exp
instead of trainer,you got bag like mystery dungeon to put stuff
basic attack will be the starter's move like pound and scratch and as you level up you unlock more moves to make one devastating combo

an island where like 10 other random people or friends of youre can walk around

if you look someone in the eye you have to battle

instead of exp you earn bp by battling

add this >>19505250 arena thing where people who have already earned their gym leader status can sit in their arenas and wait for challengers

make it like the orange island
have rulesets on arena like for the first arena only have non evolved pokemon
you can only challenge them with non evolved pokemon an or only 2 on 2 battle
the possibilities are endless

A Pokemon Platformer

Not really a new game idea, but i'd like to be able to use any battle background online, there were so many nice ones in X/Y but we only got the digital looking one.
Also the abilty to use music from your SD card for battle music.

Minor changes
You can remove your hat in customization
Amie background is where you are in the game world, no more generic field
Super Training is a facility in a building, you get a proper tutorial to it when you get there. Tnis is because adding Super Training at the start might be too much for newcomers. Let them learn what stats are before min-maxing them.
The Super Training screen is replaced with a Pokedex feature showing your pokemon team without having to pause the game. It can also show EV spreads, movelists, stats and more.
Move relearners can take more than heart scales, they also collect tinymushrooms and Big Pearls
Icons for stat boosts in battle (can be disabled, or is disabled by default for beginners if it's too much for them)
More themes for the UI, especially a classic theme from Gen 1
Gen 2 style graphics mode (thicker lines, fullbright models)

Big changes
Ice resists water
Moves that have no effect now proceed as normal, the enemy just recieves no damage instead. Secondary effects still work.*
Sprite graphics mode
Retro music mode
A mechanic that lets you give your pokemon 6IV stats, but is really hard to pull off (Maybe as a reward for maxing out Amie and Super Training). It should be optional in case you want 0 speed or whatever
Hard mode
Pokemon item equip slots (Give your Pikachu armour, or a tazer, just some items that carry small stat boosts and aren't held items)
More Megas

Impossible changes
Every pokemon is now balanced around OU. They all have at least 2 distinct tactics that fit into OU and are all equally viable. They also have at least 4 UU tier sets.

I really want size-changing adventures in Pokemon to be a thing. doing well=grow, doing poorly="shrriiiiiiink!"

I know this isn't the place for a fantasy, so I'll contribute something normal:

I think it would be pretty cool if the Safari Zone got more hardcore, where you could yourself fight the Pokemon and have battles with them. Your trainer gaining a stat system and a level and all that would be pretty cool. Maybe they can resurrect that whip idea from Gen 1 they never implemented.

None of that telling you what they're sending in bullshit.

- No using anymore Pokémon the opposition, that means: 1v1 2v2 3v3 4v4 5v5 6v6 only.
If the opponent has two Pokémon and they beat the two you've sent in, they win even if you have one left.
You can then challenge that trainer again after a set period of time if you wish.

- Hold down L and R when a trainer is talking to you to initiate a double battle instead of a single battle.

- Everything this guy said >>19505250 I'm tired of being a manlet trainer.

- Trainers actually use PokéBalls other than the standard PokéBall when they send in their Pokémon.

- After the endgame you can ask your friends to follow about for shits and giggles, like Riley and Cheryl in DPPt

- A Battle Chateau like place where the other NPC actually gain ranks and grow.
I'M THE GRAND DUKE I SHOULDN'T HAVE TO BATTLE THOSE PEASANT BARONS

- Some options to give the character that affect the ending.
Think Paragon and Renegade from Mass effect.
Trevor: LET'S BE SUPER BEST FRIENDS!
Paragon MC: Sure thing man.
Endgame has him telling you about potential Megas.

Trevor: LET'S BE SUPER BEST FRIENDS!
Renegade MC: I've had enough of you and your disingenuous assertions.
Endgame has him battling you wanting to beat you.

What if we had a Pokemon game where:

>The local region has gotten sick of dicks trying to take over the world with Legendary Pokemon

>Has been irking the local wilds, making relations tense and causing the local training scene to look inward and become reliant on captive breeding
>Occasionally get a slight case of massive property damage from said irked Pokemon
>To solve this quagmire, you must rally with your team around something that the world around you has seemingly forgotten: Trust

For extra chuckles, let's keep the protagonist 10 years old again and see where it goes.

possible candidates:

Plusle + Minun
multiple Unown
multiple male Combee
Kyurem + Reshiram + Zekrom

Possible retcons:

Diglett
Magnemite
Slowpoke + Shellder
Beldum
Klink

They've skirted with the idea already with Kyurem, and possibly thought about it with Mantyke with its evolution method (older sprites fore Mantine had a remoraid on its wing/fin)

in some areas there are some spots you could only reach be flying

Extra steps, stronger balls, more effective bait/mud, bigger areas, something that increases the frequency of finding certain pokemon.
