But design-wise? It's a tree-tail. Tall trees are known to sexually attract lightning.

And Swampert likes to swim fast according to the Pokedex.

Even though it'd do like, hardly any damage, wouldnt it make more sense for Swampert to have Lightning Rod? That'd do no damage at all in a double battle.

I dont know much about how of a difference that its but it seems backwards.

What we should have gotten was a grass-type unique ability, "Evergreen" or something like it that gives resistance or immunity to ice damage.

In Doubles it draws all Electric moves too. So merely having MSceptile on the field makes any Electric move useless
