I quite like the new designs actually. Brandon is pretty unobjectionable in a meh way (except for the fucking hat not being hair).

I think the new May design is really cute plus she's lost the massive thighs she used to have

Those aren't hiking shoes. Those are loose fitting clown shoes, and he isn't wearing any socks.
His original design wore ankle supporting shoes, and his second showed sneakers.

I could be completely wrong, but am I the only one who thinks they look aged up to match the 14-16 ages of the Gen 5/6 Protags?

They look a little older, and while May was always the bustiest female protag, it's even more noticeable now
