I tend to follow themes through generations, so.
Gardevoirs- named after glamorous stars. Current one is Greta Garbo, but there were also Grace Kelly, or David Bowie (male)
Golem- jewish names. Anya the Golem carried me through HGSS.
Infernapes- Sun Wukong, Hanuman, Monkey King. Always around this archetype.
For more recent ones I'm starting once I get to breeding,
Greninja- was named Cocas (portuguese name for Kermit). Thinking on following with portuguese names for other cartoon frogs I can find, or just cartoon frog names.
Pandango- Getter (since he's hotblooded like a Getter Robo protagonist). Going to keep the theme with the next one being Shin Getter.
Pidgeot- randomly named mine TV-Nihon since it's what popped to mind at naming time. Don't know if I'll breed more Pidgeys, but if I do the theme will be fansub groups.
Furfrou- Barukzhi (typoed). When sired, will keep the theme of either alternative names for Afghan Hounds, or Afghan Hound champions.
Oh and also all my Mewtwos have the names of German leaders.
