The Parfume palace's garden was built in honour of an alliance between the King of Kalos and the Heroes of Ideals and Truth during the War of Regions.

The Heroes broke up Original Dragon because the Hero of Truth saw through the lies King of Kalos put in front of them.

Abyssal Ruins were also built to commemorate the event and the King in the text is actually King of Kalos.
They were flooded by the Hero of Truth as a sign of disagreement with future cooperation.

Unova then became a neutral zone during the war.

Some shit I just came up with, didn't check for facts and time so I don't know if it can hold

The fact that Mr.Fuji (Who participate in the creation of Mewtwo who has two mega-stones) give to Red a Charizarite-X, that Charizard is the only Pokemon with Mewtwo to have 2 Mega evolutions, and that Mega-Charizard X looks really unnatural next to Mega-Charizard Y.
So it might be possible that the Charizarite-X is a artificial Mega-stone based on the artificial Mewtwo's Mega-stones

Frillish/Jellicent are found in a route said to be connected to the other ruins found in Unova.

They are, like Yamask, ghosts of the ancient people who died when their city was flooded. This also explains the Jellicent found in Undella Bay.

If I recall correctly in Black 1 and White 1 The Abyssal Ruins are shaped like a Menger Sponge. N has a Menger Sponge on his costume somewhere so the implication is that it is related to N and his ancestor. Then in Black 2 and White 2 it was possible to translate the writing in Abyssal Ruins and it actually refers to a King who is implied ot be N's ancestor.

Pokemon Black and White is a massive homage to the Mother series, especially the 3rd game. The theme near the end is similar to the Theme of Love and the concept of a black and white dragon was previously used in in Mother 3. Although in Mother 3 that was figurative, the dragon does have the ability to destroy the earth. In Pokemon the black and white dragons were said to create Kalos and were said to be owned by twins.

Pokemon is the spiritual successor to Earthbound/Mother 1 and owes a lot to that series.

The gist of it is that some of the guys from Ape who worked on Mother 1 went on to do Pokemon Red/Green.

The overworld layout, your Mom healing your party, your next door rival, Mewtwo and the unknown cave, some Pokemon being aliens are all from Mother. The reason you see the movie Stand By Me on the TV in your hometown in Red/Green is probably because Stand By Me was in the inspiration for Mother. Unless it's a different movie in Japanese or something.

Also generally the whole idea of walking from town to town in modern day Japan is very Stand By Me and Mother inspired. They probably pair up Lucas and Pokemon Trainer in Brawl because of this too. Now that I think of it Red's red hat is probably from Mother as well.

With the Hoenn remakes X and Y was retconned to occur at the same time as Gen 1/Gen3, three years before Gens 2 and 4 and a significant amount of time before the Gen 5 games

First, how does that confirm that they happen at the same time? Second, as far as I know there was nothing placing Black and White in a particular part of the timeline with the first 4 gens, so even if X and Y happen at the same time as gen 3 and gen 1, I don't see how that's retconning anything.
