>>19545958Corphish was kinda a hidden poke if you think about it, you only get it through fishing in 3 specific areas, but even then it's not really that useful until it evolves into Crawdaunt and i really don't like the idea of overleveling, same thing with Camerupt.
Gyarados is a really strong Pokemon but it didn't really learn any water moves that early by level up (but dragon rage was still kinda OP) and for some people was kind of a pain to raise a magikarp in their team.
Geodude.... i don't know, almost no one that i knew really used a Geodude in RSE, probably because they wanted to use new mons like Aron, second because geodude was known as "the frail rock that dies to bubble" (even tho it's only bad when the AI is using it, it was okay even back then when sturdy wasn't that great) and third because the fact that you had to trade it to evolve it into a Golem wasn't really the most inviting thing in the world.
