Swampert design was perfect as it was, of course they needed to gave it a mega to match up with the other 2 starters but why turn it into a fucking macho man, i don't understand this. Maybe in the artwork it doesn't look all that horrendous but in game... jesus christ it's most retarded thing i've ever seen.

The roster of Swift Swim users in VGC is pretty pathetic with Kabutops being currently unusable.

M Swampert having swift swim makes up for the loss of Kabutops in that format.

If they're buffing rain, maybe they'll give another mega Drizzle.

Normal Swampert is so big and cuddly like a water teddy bear. Mega Swampert has no cuddle factor and would kill you with one hug. Being strong at fighting is the point of a mega but did it have to skip legs day so much.

Seriously, I'm expecting a 40-50 base Speed with over 100 BST more on HP and Attack, plus the 10-20 lost on Speed.

It would mean a monstrous bulk and Atk, and still enough Speed to outspeed most 100 base under the Rain.
Also even without Rain it would be impressively bulk. Swampert is already decent with no trait.

I loved the Mudkip line ever since I first played Ruby, but I never liked Swampert. This Mega Swampert is fucking awesome though, and I'll definitely use it in ORAS.

I loved using Swampert on simulators, back in DPP era, but i never really liked the design (only the sprite was kinda cool back then). Now I feel like I can use it again both in competitive and in the real game thanks to this redesign.
