I recently started watching pokemon again starting from the first season. I found the banned episodes again and must say that I find some things utter bullshit. Say the Legend of Dratini episode and usage of guns... no people are harmed in this episode and as a child I played more violent videogames at the time already.

Also, the porygon episode. 700 seizures on 4.6 million households is not a lot in my eyes... Furthermore, while watching the episode I think that, if the original assets are still available to the company making the series, this pokemon shock problem could easily be resolved by reducing the amount of effects to the new set standard.

Sometimes I just feel shit about these episodes not being re-released in a fixed manner or something. Thus, it got me thinking.

Would a petition maybe help out in getting these episodes to be re-released in good quality and maybe even an exclusive English dub? And has it been tried before?
