Does anyone else think this concept is fucking rad? These aren't your mama's Groudon and Kyogre, these things are fucking primordial. Obviously the game is going to limit how powerful they are, but just think about it. This is Groudon in all its glory, the Behemoth that's said to be the creator of land, not specifically Hoenn, but all land in the Pokemon world. It created the very earth and expanded the very continents that our Player characters walk on. This Kyogre, this Leviathan, not only quenched the areas afflicted by drought, but its torrential rains were so powerful that they expanded the very oceans the Player characters surf on. Two-thirds of the Pokemon world is covered in water, and this guy is the reason.

I hope they stick with this concept in later games, I'd love to see more Pokemon revert back to their primordial selves, back to the beasts that shaped the world. Imagine Primordial Regigigas, having reverted back to the continent-towing giant it once was, it no longer has Slow Start. Or Primordial Lugia, the Lugia talked about in legends that causes 40-day storms and rips apart houses just by flapping its wings.

>TL;DR I'm hyped and what Primordial Pokemon would you like to see?
