Holding elemental stones makes a pokemon change to that type when hit. (It's technically buffing held items)*

Psychic pokemon have an innate +1 to special defense from the start
Fairies get +1 speed whenever you hit them with a Dragon attack
Ghosts get +1 defense when hit with a normal or fighting move
Dark gets +1 Special Defense when hit with a Psychic move
Normal gets +1 Special Attack when hit with a Ghost move
Foresight and similar moves allow Dragons to hit Fairies if they don't already (Never tried it personally), and instead of making the enemy vunerable to immune moves it makes the user able to hit immune pokemon, so you can use it once and sweep

Sun = Psychic (because Espeon)
Shiny = Fairy
Dusk = Ghost
