ITT: Team building and help with sets.

OK I didn't see one on the catalog so I'm making one.
Here is the problem I've been using Blastoise and it helps as a RapidSpinner and has a niche on my team but today after facing a Politoed I realized I didn't have any way to make damage to oposite water types.
Help me to improve my Pokemon /vp/.

Blastoise@Leftovers
Ability: Torrent
Modest
252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 Def
- Hydro Pump
- Ice Beam
- Focus Blast
- Rapid Spin
I'm thinking on replacing Hydro Pump with Scald and Focus Blast with Dragon Tail/Roar and invest some in physical bulk since my Tyranitar takes special hits like a champion.

Why would you use Focus Blast when you now have Aura Sphere available to use?

Also I would definitely go for Scald over Hydro Pump

Sorry anon but that would bother my autism, also Aura Sphere only has 90 BP and I won't use a Mega on it so I'm going with bulky Blastoise.
I already replaced Hydro Pump with Scald and Focus Miss with Roar to not make it set up bait.

Now my dilemma is using Crunch over Payback on my Tyranitar or not.

Alright, I can get that. I still think it's more worth it to re-breed but your set sounds pretty solid. I think Roar is a better choice over Focus Miss entirely.

As for as your T-Tar dilemma that ones more of a toughie. Payback certainly has it's advantages but it not consistent. I personally prefer the reliability of Crunch but you can't go wrong with either.

Maybe I'll breed another Squirtle and try a more offensive set to use the Mega for fun and I agree with Crunch because now I think about I want something that have 100% chances to hit on oposing switch.
Now for the EV's I'll ditch the 252 on SpA and put 120 on Defense and 140 on SpA enough to KO Garchomp after Stealth Rock, because I'm still afraid of Dragons.

It's a never miss 135 power move (I think 120 in XY)

Why would it bother you that your bro Pokemon can start a whole new generation of even more competent Pokemon to win battles in the new generation?

That sounds like a good spread. Garchomp wouldn't be able to do much in the first place with that bulk and being able to OHKO it is very nice. I know I certainly don't like dealing with them. Is it enough to OHKO any other of the Ice-Weak dragons?

Spread depends on what you're using it for I'd say. If you intend to Curse a lot I would go for a full Specially Defensive spread, but if you don't want to depend on Curse I would go full HP full Att

Moveset is pretty standard. Works well and no need to change it any as far as I can see. I'd go for Leftovers for healing since Swampert is damn bulky.

Swampert's best sets are support sets with Rocks and Roar. If you really want to Do something with curse, look towards Adv Swampert sets; RestTalk, Curse, Waterfall.

Yeah I love the shit out of Fake Out, in singles it's somewhat of a dead weight sometimes but it's a great way to revenge kill.

I use mine with Max HP and max Attack, with SR, Ice Punch, Earthquake and Waterfall.
Tanks some hits but the damage is nothing so great.

I tried with 252 EV on Defense and it was the same except for some percentage
