Sup /vp/, just finished a world map for a Pokemon tabletop game I'm GM'ing, wonderin' what you thought.

Starting town for the PC's is Port Conifa, 3 of them are already friends and waiting on a long time pen pal. The region's back-story is that 40 years ago Unovans attempted to settle this bay but it was over-ran by pirates. The "Indigo Poke-Military Forces" step in from across the ocean and clean shit up so the Unovans can settle. The IPMF sets up a few bases on the bay, provide protection and things are flourishing. Eastern Unova is trying to deal with multiple word-takeovers/coups so Riftu has pretty much been thrown to the wayside to manage their own law & government. Gyms don't exist but are integrated into town halls, somewhat like a sheriff/mayor/dmv amalgamation. Players will still be able to journey through towns and get certifications, ofc, but civilization is just developing so the "Hall Champion" a PC beats might also be the Sheriff or the local barkeep.

Oh and there is no governing League. On of the PC's has a goal to someday be part of establishing a league "like I hear about on the Kanto Radio"
